Guitar repair?
  • Anyone have any experience with Alex Marucci Guitar Repairs, in Union? Or do you know of another good repair place close by? Thanks in advance. This is an elderly little Guild.
  • I've an elec. guitar, elec. bass, and acoustic worked on at Dave's (http://www.gti.net/junebug/dave/). I'd recommend them.

I've had some equipment work done at a place called Prymaxe Vintage in Cranford (http://www.prymaxevintage.com/). I believe they do guitars as well, but couldn't recommend them as yet.
  • I have used Majestic guitars in Caldwell.

  • Majestic is really great. he is a luthier and will do a careful job. Fixed up my 335 beautifully.

Dave's is the best around for amp work. Have never had him do guitar repair, but I would def. trust him as well. Do not know Alex marucci.

  • Another vote for Dave's Sound Repair.
Bill, the guitar guy there, is great.
  • Thank you, guitar brain trust! I will see which shop can see the patient soonest.
